Have been busy getting ready for the Holidays , but made sure to find the time to go off and capture some special moments too. Recently I not only took photos at the annual KWHS homecoming halftime for 2 of my coworkers, but also a friend called and asked me if I would meet her and her sweet kids to take photos. We met at the historic Casa Marina, and with no pressure on me, I took some of the most amazing photos I think I've done to date. I am feeling more and more comfortable behind the lens and have been so pleased with the end results of my work.
Here is just a sample collage of some different poses:
My favorite of all the photos I captured that day:
We've been blessed this year for some of the most idealic weather anyone could ask for. Home is where your heart is and every city and town all over the world may boast of having spectacular sunsets....but I have to say that the some of my most favorites occur in my hometown. Even the palm trees swaying in the breeze seem to be waving the praises to the end of another golden day in their lives......
It was a gorgeous, sunny and cloudless sky over the Lower Keys and Key West. What we call "chamber of commerce" weather ! And today I was fortunate enough to get some really amazing stills of the "Blue Angels" flying squadron as they performed for hundreds of locals & tourists in the skies above Key West.
I've finally decided to take a chance! I've been complimented over the years now about my photography skills and my ability to capture some really great moments. Whether they've been personal ones, for friends or even to be shared online of some of my favorite celebrities....I am beginning to build more confidence in myself! Please remember that these photos are all taken by me and should you decide to "take" them, please link back to my page and give me credit! I feel blessed to have the support of so many family and friends and it's with their encouragement and blessing that I dip my "toes in the sea and sand" and take the plunge.
Below are just a few samples of my work. If you're interested, email or call and leave me a message and I will schedule an appointment with you. I do "on location" photos here in Key West at the moment.
